Recycling and sustainability are important factors in our approach to business and ensuring we adhere to the policy set out on our ISO 14001 Accreditation. We follow the rules of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle to create a sustainable approach to waste management and the use of resources.
It is Eco Landscapes company policy to ensure that high levels of enthusiasm are given with environmental responsibilities, one of which includes recycling and waste management.
Our intension is to minimise waste to the best of our ability by following procurement processes when purchasing equipment and making sure all leftover materials are recycled or put to good use on alternative projects. All staff are trained and are expected to abide by our company procedures and co-operate with senior staff regarding waste management and recycling.
Eco Landscapes use specialist companies to remove specialist waste such as oil collections and hazardous waste. We also hold a Waste Carrier License which is given and certified by the Environmental Agency.
At our service yard, we divide non-recyclable, or hazardous waste into separate skips and bins. This is then properly disposed of by our specialist waste disposal contractors. We have selected our contractors for their ability to deal with non-recyclable waste in the most ecologically friendly way. We believe that the methods of managing waste efficiently need to be exercised by all organisations to move the UK towards a greener future.
